BACIGALUPI VINEYARD (Petite Sirah Block)
Located in the Russian River Valley along the famed Westside Road the Bacigalupi's have nurtured grapevines since the mid 1950's. Part of the old Frost Ranch, which the Bacigalupi's purchased in 1990, our sustainably farmed .5 acre block (Frost 2D) of hand picked Foppiano clone Petite Sirah sits on the flat bench just east of Westside Road. The vertically trellised dry farmed vines are aligned east to west and define the northern edge of the Frost Ranch vineyard blocks. The block is cut off from the rest of the ranch by a dry creek bed and a large stand of Oaks to the south. It is from this small oasis that we produce our vineyard specific Bacigalupi Petite Sirah.
