Sadly this is the third and last vintage of the Hyde Semillon. The vines were original plantings from the vineyards development in 1978. Exhibiting crisp aromas of citrus blossom & lemongrass on the nose with a candle wax quality on the palate. The wine is medium bodied with crisp acidity.

This is a large vineyard with many different varieties planted, but this 100% Semillon exhibits crisp, almost Chardonnay-like texture, notes of candle wax, lanolin, citrus blossom and an intriguing spiciness. It is medium-bodied with crisp acids and an alluring overall style. Drink it over the next 5-6 years.”
