The 2015 Dutton-Campbell has more initial weight in the glass at this early stage than the prior two vintages. Garnett in color with a nose showing the vineyard blocks consistent traits of red fruits, baking spices and earth. Inviting mid-palate shows rich berry flavors with a warmth of spice and hint of tobacco finishing with attractive acidity and tannins.

The palate is medium to full-bodied, soft and supple in the mouth with plenty of perfumed fruit and a spicy finish. Drink 2018-2024”

Rich fruit up front; blackberry, ripe cherry, tart cranberry that fades into an earthy layer with notes of leather and tobacco. Silky tannins. It has a long warming finish with a touch of oak… This wine is a great example of how good a Pinot Noir can be. As good as it is now, it’s youth is evident. A year or two in the cellar would do wonders.”
